Dear Forum Members,

Can you kindly assist in dating this Officer's EGA set.  The cap EGA has a Meyer shieled and something that appears to be either "FRE BRO." or "PRE BRO." The collar EGA's have a Meyer shield in the apex.  Are these from the 20s, 30s, or WWII?

Thank you all kindly for assistance!

Dave.

Those are 1930s, worn through WW2 and Korea. You have a nice set there!

Fire Bronze went out of use by WWII, mostly used in 30s. Your fire Bronze marked are likely late-30s

Thank you all for the information.  I now understand that the Cap EGA is from the late 30's.  How about the collar EGAs, are they from the late 30's, WWII, or post-WWII? - Much appreciated!
