emccomas Posted October 18, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 18, 2018 This picture of a military shadow box appeared recently on Facebook. It washed up on Mexico Beach, FL after the recent hurricane. After a number of comments / suggestions (some good, some way out there), the owner was identified. The medals have been returned to the family. None of the medals are named, but they were apparently awarded to Phillip R. Dwyer, and were in the possession of his son. I located a Colonel Phillip R. Dwyer on the internet.
