MK2 Care Tag Holder/Display

As I posted the other day, I just got my first "Care Tag" MK2 and I want to display it with the tag, not hide the tag away because of it's fragility due to age.

I found an extremely simple solution and I thought I'd share it for others on here who may also want their tags in place without ruining them.

All you need is a plastic acetate currency holder, an X-acto knife, a metal ruler, some masking tape and an optional stapler.

 

I put the Care Tag in the holder, marked the places to be cut with masking tape, removed the tag, did the cutting and replaced the tag. Done.

I think I'll put a staple in the wide right border for added security, and just one tip - I compared a new currency holder to an old one and the old ones are much thicker and firmer, that's the one I used. It's 100X firmer than the zip-loc bags a lot of guys seem to use.

Nice adaptation. I wonder if the holders for post cards would also work.
