I was trolling through On Demand on my TV and ran across this new movie. I had a couple hours to kill so I started watching the movie. After a few minutes I knew I had made a mistake. This is probably one of the worst war movies I have ever seen!!! Cheap filming, cheap special effects on the tanks....EVERYTHING!!! The Bulge was during one of the coldest winters Europe had seen in years and for the majority of this movie there was ZERO snow!!! Do not waste your time on this one if you have not seen it.

I rarely give negative reviews but this turkey was a real stinker and a total waste of time

That's right. There was then up to -16°C / 3.2°F. Moreover heavy fog and snow. It is enought to look at weather condition of Operation Repulse.

I watched the trailer on "On Demand" over the weekend. It looked really, really bad. Apparently it is, judging by the reviews on here.

I started to watch this last week after downloading it on sky Q, wow, wish I hadn't bothered. What a waste of my time, I turned it off and deleted the download after 20 minutes of watching.

Very poor all round and very disappointed. First thing I said to myself " where's the snow "

Tom Berenger is almost 70 years old, he could be the grandpa of a wwII major. It seems to be a very bad movie.

You are right but problem is old and much wider. Letꞌs take a look at the "Kellyꞌs Heroes" and age of actors:

• Clint Eastwood – 39

• Telly Savalas – 47

• George Savalas – 45

• Don Rickles – 43

• Donald Sutherland – 34

• Gavin MacLeod – 38

• Hal Buckley – 32

• Stuart Margolin – 29

• Jeff Morris – 35

• Richard Davalos – 39

• Perry Lopez – 38

• Tom Troupe – 41

• Harry Dean Stanton – 43

• Dick Balduzzi – 41

• Gene Collins – 37

• Len Lesser – 47

• George Fargo – 39

• Dee Pollock – 32

• Shepherd Sanders – 42

• Yves Montand – 48

With the exception of Hal Buckley (Captain in this movie) all of them -- in the ETO authentic realities -- would be too old by 15-20 years to be GIs.

Unfortunately this is typical situation in the movie industry.

Yves Montand is not GI of course in that movie -- he belongs to bad guys.
