Is this for mounted rifle? Appears nickel plated and came attached to a nickel plated sharpshooter badge with C clasp. No marks on either.

I already mounted it in a shadow box! Description says it all...

Right, I guess it's one of unauthorized types? There was a list I was sure foalting around that had them, can't find it now, you know it had listed ones like BAZOOKA,M-1, M-14 etc etc

Whoops, my bad, the q-bar is actually marked "Rifle-D". Authorized and used in the early 1920s to denote the "D" rifle course. There was also an "A", "B", and "C" rifle course with corresponding q-bars. Later replaced by the plain Rifle bar (Source: Bill Emerson).
