Anyone know the whats and whens of this projectile. It has been cut directly from the brass casing. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for looking! rd12 Posted October 12, 2018 Share #5 Posted October 12, 2018 I think you meant to type L70 40mm, which is for the Bofors system. This looks to be a dummy round. The pictures below show the same round un-cut, and show that the plastic extended all the way through the round, probably to correctly replicate weight of a live round.
