usmce4 Posted October 10, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2018 It’s been a long drought for me. Until this week I haven’t bought anything worthwhile since May 5th and now here’s the second one this week. I think the “been there, done that” MK2s will always be my favorites – the older the better. But yet the minty ones seem to have an allure all their own to me. Kind of like a Picasso or Rembrant that has managed to survive the times intact. That’s why I couldn’t resist this one. I just wish it was a Ka-Bar rather than a Camillus……. Hope you enjoy the pics, Art

everforward Posted October 10, 2018 Share #3 Posted October 10, 2018 That's a beauty. A bit nostalgic to see this, I can remember seeing these in this shape at the gun shows I went to as a teenager (late-70s/early-80s)....had many an opportunity to pick one up with the tag and still in the wrap for $50.00. SKIPH Posted October 10, 2018 Share #4 Posted October 10, 2018 usmce4- Nice knife! Thanks for showing. I like any MK2, Camillus, Ka-Bar, RCC, Utica, PAL, Ontario, have them all. Sooner or later I'll pick up an "MSI", or a Conetta. I like the Camillus because they were the first maker, and I have an original, mint, screw-pommel w/ USN marked leather sheath. Also is the fact I carried a Camillus MK2 most of my army career. Good knives! SKIP

sactroop Posted October 10, 2018 Share #6 Posted October 10, 2018 Art, it's funny to think that it doesn't seem all that long ago when you introduced yourself here. I've been admiring your growing collection ever since.
