RememberThe5thESB Posted October 8, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 8, 2018 While I don't have it on hand and won't for a while today, I have a interesting canteen in my collection. It's a 45 dated, so possibly Korean war used, with a neat little repair. (No pictures for now sadly) What it is, is that at one point the chain attaching the cap to the canteen itself busted off, and someone used the end of a dog tag or similar style "bead" cord I suppose you would call it, to attach it. I'll post pictures later but it is quite interesting! Sent from my SM-J327V using Tapatalk

iron bender Posted October 18, 2018 Share #3 Posted October 18, 2018 Field expediency. I like it. ( I really wanted to post about a dogtag set I have that's been repaired with a canteen chain)
