This is a neat yard long featuring Marines in their blues with an art deco script. The foreground still shows a dirt floor so it is an earlier image but My guess is the early 1930s.

The wide dress chevrons were made obsolete in 1922 when they reduced their dress ranks to about 3" however many Marines continued wearing them past that date so cant really use that to date the photo, but i would say mid to late 20's though.

+1 the Marine with the seam to seam striped is sitting next to another wearing a bell crown hat. That change over was about 1922 as well. With most wearing the larger cap, I would also guess about a mid 1920’s image. Nice photo. Kevin
