I've been actively searching for a D-day letter I'd like since May 2017. I picked this up on eBay out of England. The seller said it came from his father who was involved in the preparations.

Before pulling the trigger on this I had a forum member okay it. Now that I have it saftely in hand I wanted to see what the community thought.

It does NOT appear to glow.

It measures 6 x 9 1/8th.

It appears to be exactly as pictured and presented in the listing.

This is my initial photo I took when I got it in hand

Does NOT appear to glow.

You'll see where my hand is pulling back the plastic sleeve and that the corner of the paper has a purplish color from the UV light. Then to the right is the bright neon blue color of modern computer paper.

I've spent a year and a half looking for the right piece so any comments are welcome. As a side note you'll notice a small stain on the right edge. Things like this usually bother me which is why I've taken so long to find one. I'm betting when I get it framed to preserve it, it'll cover this up and you won't notice it.

Thanks.

Paper looks good that no glow is a great sign. Congrats! Been lookin for one myself, haven't pulled the 'trigger' yet as they are faked so heavily... Cheers!

For those who have framed these, does anyone have any thoughts on what color matts would be best? I've always been partial to two matt so I'd need 2 colors.
