DaddyDog Posted September 26, 2018 Share #1 Posted September 26, 2018 This patch was said to have been removed from a flight jacket. The museum of aviation at Warner Robins could not identify it. Any ideas are helpful. Not in my possession but offered nearby for sale.

DaddyDog Posted September 26, 2018 Author Share #3 Posted September 26, 2018 The aircraft resembles an F-80 Shooting Star if that helps. The wearer served during the Korean War and afterwards.
Randy Posted September 26, 2018 Share #4 Posted September 26, 2018 I could also be a T-33. Normally these types of flight patches are associated with pilot training units, but not always. The red tip tanks could be a clue, though many units did this. This one could go either way, though only PACAF based units went beyond A-D fighter wise. Training units used the whole alphabet it seems. This one looks US made Chenille. Randy
