Most unusual WW1 aviation patch with eagle on upcoming farm auction

A fellow I know who does a few farm auctions told me of a few things coming up on one of his auctions. There are what appear to be parts from a cut up WW1 uniform. Look at the pice of cloth with the roundel and the eagle. Its the only photo I have of it, terrible photography

Looks like a 1st Marine Aviation Force patch. (WWI)

Probably pretty rare due to the low numbers, as compared to the 5th or 6th Marines.

I was a Marine air winger, would love to find one like that.

Another shot of whats there. Looks like a lot of sweetheart items, a few German items, there is a wide variety of patches, kind of odd a vet would have those? Maybe he just liked patches.
