reschenk Posted September 18, 2018 Share #9 Posted September 18, 2018 West Point cadets would not have used the M1902 in WWII or any other time - they have their own distinctive design of sword. The Navy and Marines did away with swords in WWII - considered them a waste of valuable war materials; officers were encouraged to donate their swords to trash metal drives.
