SORRY FOR THE LOREZ PIC.  THE 'U.S.  M3'  LOOKS ODD, OR TOO BEEFY,  MAYBE JUST FROM THE CHALK?  ALSO, I KNOW THE MAKER'S NAME LETTERS ARE ALL SQUASHED TOGETHER FROM KINFOLKS BUT THIS ONE'S SEEM PARTLY SCRATCHED OUT. PLUS  BLADE LOOKS BLUED, NOT GRAY Untitled.png PARK'D AS I THOUGHT WAS NORMAL FOR THE UNDATED ONES. THE TANG PEEN IS NORMAL.  IDEAS? THANKS A LOT

INIMICUS- Kinfolks blade & guard marked can be either blued or parkerized. I have a mint guard marked w/ mint M6 that is blued.  The one you pictured looks unsharpened, note line of white  cutting edge.  Bill Walters has a picture of a couple of blade marked Kinfolks w/ the wider "U.S.  M3", lettering.  Looks like a nice one to me.  SKIP

blade marked...close up  BM is the same as BD without the date.  The tang peen should be crude and in the white and should not be a line or star burst type found on the guard marked blades.
