RememberThe5thESB Posted September 6, 2018 Share #1 Posted September 6, 2018 I managed to get wind from my friend that he found a uniform in his attic. It's pretty nice but has apparently been split, some of the stuff I mean. Anyway, he is asking for $50 plus a mini bike frame (odd I know) that's probably worth around $40-50. I wanted to hear some opinions from you all on the price, and if it's worth it. That and the uniform itself. Thanks as always. Also, the last three images are of a strange pair of pants he found with them, any clue on what they are would be appreciated.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180906/ade8db1d0da03185986a4f1ead34a48a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180906/1acb280ef7c7aedfca4af02429743cac.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180906/b3c441010e954a64300a15f72cdf7511.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180906/e8131bc0eaa0bb5edafbde1705d693f4.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180906/9525a95c815bbe79a3fc702f123058fe.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180906/c3023feed8c02a3baa42f6729839d30d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180906/18051adc3b1c88d363c6fb87d93bc2d7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180906/07b91de9e5d5403b794828b8e61f9d1f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180906/37a631b7bf850580fd4116a2c2fadc74.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180906/2bf385ab999171dd8a58485566abebef.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180906/53e76e69de550ae1d178fb02d83fdbec.jpg Sent from my SM-J327V using Tapatalk

RememberThe5thESB Posted September 6, 2018 Author Share #3 Posted September 6, 2018 How much would those be worth? Also I guess I posted too many images so I'll have to post the rest here. Sent from my SM-J327V using Tapatalk
General Colt Posted September 7, 2018 Share #4 Posted September 7, 2018 Nice Italian 5th Army patch. Any name or laundry number inside? The pants sort of look like odd M1937 Mustard trousers. More photos of the trousers would help.
RememberThe5thESB Posted September 7, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted September 7, 2018 Sadly no laundry numbers I can find, but there are plenty of stamps throughout, including the pockets. The garrison cap, ike, and pants have the orange tag shown in the pictures. And sadly I can't get anymore pictures right now, the uniform isn't with me. But I'll look tomorrow. There's also a strange set of similar wool weave trousers but completely different construction. Sent from my SM-J327V using Tapatalk
doyler Posted September 7, 2018 Share #6 Posted September 7, 2018 trouser possibilities....There were both French and Begian made trousers for US Army late war. Also Brit made contracts. Vet also may have purchased or "acquired" tailor made/officer quality. I have a 5th Army uniform that the jacket is an Australian made BDU jacket. As for value maybe $65 ? ... typically the value in these type uniforms are what the buyer wants to pay.If hes a local vet and you like local history price/value is subjective. RememberThe5thESB Posted September 7, 2018 Author Share #8 Posted September 7, 2018 I noticed that too, it looks odd and has what seem to be ridges on the star. Sent from my SM-J327V using Tapatalk
