45govt Posted August 15, 2018 Share #1 Posted August 15, 2018 Hello Was wondering if anyone knew what this pin or medal is with what looks like an anchor and possible cross. Thanks Don
VolunteerArmoury Posted August 15, 2018 Share #2 Posted August 15, 2018 I would guess a fraternal organization of some sort that used the anchor as part of their insignia. I think he’s Army or militia since it seems a fatigue blouse (sack coat) with marksmanship buttons on the collars.

Bruce Linz Posted August 15, 2018 Share #4 Posted August 15, 2018 I think that pin could be a membership pin for the United Boys Brigade of America (UBBA).
lettow Posted August 15, 2018 Share #5 Posted August 15, 2018 It is similar to the symbol of the Western Catholic Union.
45govt Posted August 25, 2018 Author Share #6 Posted August 25, 2018 Hello Thanks all for the suggestions It does resemble the Boy's Brigade emblem but not completely I am sure it is US and probably Army based on the Marksman buttons Thanks Don
ww1buff Posted August 25, 2018 Share #7 Posted August 25, 2018 I am going to break ranks here and say that's probably not a military pin at all, but a religious one. The Christian cross is in the background and an anchor symbolizing strong faith, with what might be a heart superimposed on it. Its also not being worn as any type of rank or insignia, but in a location that shows its personal rather than official. Just my guess.
