triplecanopy Posted August 14, 2018 Share #1 Posted August 14, 2018 Joseph M Shanholtz Inc is currently in business and Manufactures Precious Metal Jewelry to include Jewelry Emerald gemstones, Ruby gemstones, Sapphire gemstones, Diamond gemstones, Pearls, Gemstones, Industrial precious and semi precious stones, Semi precious stones, Precious stones, Jewelry making tools and supplies, Fine jewelry and Imitation jewelry. At one time they also made military insignia and used JMS as their hallmark. Examples of that are illustrated here: A Lieutenant Colonel oak leaf marked JMS G.I. STERLING and a Colonel Eagle also marked JMS G.I. Sterling Silver. With no IOH Number, it looks like these insignia were most likely made in the 1950's to early 1960's. triplecanopy Posted August 14, 2018 Author Share #2 Posted August 14, 2018 Here are some photos of a Master Parachutist Badge made by JMS to include one still on the original factory card. I have found both senior and master parachutist badges made by this maker, but basic wings seem to me elusive.
