Is there anyone out there who is a serious collector of books like this? Someone who has the years preceeding 1939 and afterward who really needs it to complete their set of "The Brass Hat" out there? I might be willing to part with it, but I shant sell it as I am not a dealer/seller, of course! Nor accept postage or any token payment either as I do not need or want the money. Who out there is willing to work with me? I need pictures or scans that can be used here to show insignia, medals, uniforms, etc., I can TRADE my CDs of same for your's and possibly contribute my books to you in return for your part. I buy from eBay sellers and scan the booklets, books, catalogues, etc., afterward I do not need the actual ephemera, know what I mean? Obviously there is no guatrantee a museum nor library will keep and preserve these printed matter, a serious collector will and they'll make provision for the disposition of their possessions after they depart this life. They won't be forced to sell it to pay their debts, else a collection is broken up and scattered or sold off by heirs, etc.? I am on borrowed time and accept it as part of life, but I'd like to see everything stay intact and in the hands of a serious collector who'll pass it along for the future generations! I hope someone out there is in a position to maintain a library and collection, surely there must be someone?
