Aloha from Belgium

Hi Guys,

I am Ringo and a newbie member of this wonderful forum. Registered some time ago but now i have the time to visit this forum regularly! I collect for some years now but mainly wartime Belgium ( RAF ) tunics and postwar Air Rank ( General ) uniforms of pilots who flew with the RAF during the second world war.

The last months i have reoriented my focus and would love to find me some nice 8th and 9th air force tunics to complete my collection. I hope to find more information here on the forum and maybe make some friends... If i am lucky enough maybe even find me a tunic or two, tree, four... B)

I would also love to help other members so if someone has questions about Belgium, battlefields, museums, other things, always nice if i can help you out!

All the best

Ringo

Hi, live near Bruges so only the "For Freedom Museum" is in the neighbourhood but what a museum that is! One of the most beautifull i have ever seen...

Hello Ringo, and welcome to the forum. And all this time I thought aloha was Hawaiian.

Hi Mikie, you're right of course :D... In our country they say "goeiendag" but i thought aloha was a bit more exotic :)... But no matter how they say it, happy to be here on the forum!

Never was in this area, but the museum looks very good. Visited Ostende years ago on our trip to Cap Griz Nez, but this was the northest point in Belgium I was.

Greetings Ringo. If you have not done so already, you might also want to check out our sister forum, www.worldmilitariaforum.com

Your Belgian expertise could come in handy there. It is owned and run by the same staff as here and focuses on the rest of the world
