ebay seller has this picture posterd for sale and I thought it intesting.

 

I know there were a lot of "surplus" vehicles available after the war. Is this a converted amphib? the housing looks taller than the regular beach assault vehicle.

 

Will post a couple of "weasel" shots he has listed too ,for your viewing as  well.

my thoughts too, but some SERIOUS modifications (i.e welding) to the upper structure to probably make it warm and cozy in Alaska.
