Ronnie Posted August 6, 2018 Share #1 Posted August 6, 2018 This is a highly detailed wood carved piece that came from the local POW Camp here in my home county. It was called Camp Como and housed mostly German Soldiers who were captured in North Africa. This piece was carved by a POW and given to one of the guards who then gave it to his girl friend. The sister of the girl friend brought it to my office and gave it to me. Thanks for looking. Ronnie

Ronnie Posted August 6, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted August 6, 2018 Thank you all and yes it is very nice. The lady was nice to bring it to me. I also have some German Insignia that came from Camp Como. Also have a bunk, a blanket and some fire buckets. Here is a photo of the two fire buckets that came from Camp Como. These were mounted on a wall and were filled with sand.
