Steve1987 Posted August 6, 2018 Share #4 Posted August 6, 2018 Very nice. Does the one second from the right have a C broad arrow inside? -Steve
NorwichCadet Posted August 6, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted August 6, 2018 Here is a picture. It has the "mills bullet" mark and another mark that is likely a "C" which I means Canadian I think.
Steve1987 Posted August 6, 2018 Share #6 Posted August 6, 2018 Here is a picture. It has the "mills bullet" mark and another mark that is likely a "C" which I means Canadian I think. That black mark is a Canadian C broad arrow. This holster was originally issued to CEF in WWI to compliment their order of 5000 Government Model 1911 pistols in 1914. A lot of these holsters have made their way to the U.S. as they still surface at gun shows in Canada but sell for more South of the border, often advertised falsely as USMC holsters. It appears to be a very nice desirable Canadian 1911 holster. Cheers, -Steve
