I picked up this interesting 1979 dated helmet cover in an early experimental "Woodland" pattern with a sewn in label which I have never seen to date. Of note as well as the varying pattern is the enlarged ERDL "finned hook" shape at the left side of the first photo. As far as I know this was not included in the production run of cammo.

Here are two Natick photos showing the same pattern including the "finned hook" shape marked as "Prototype Battle Dress Uniforms". Top is dated July 17, 1979 and bottom is dated to 1980.

Was curious if anyone has any info additional info on this pattern, or these uniforms in their collections to compare labeling?

Thanks

I noticed the 1975 pant thread with the D.P.S.C. label. Seems to go together nicely. Any additional info appreciated!

Thank you Mike and Owen! I do now notice the "Model D" on the label of the 1975 pant in bravo2zero's thread. This appears to be one of the other three model types. I will hunt around, thanks again!
