sactroop Posted August 2, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted August 2, 2018 For some reason I can't attach more than one image to a post, even though it says I've got almost 200k of remaining space available. (?) Except for the replaced clevis, I think all the other parts are original. I know these are rare as hen's teeth, and there are reasons to consider ones with condition issues at least as place keepers. I agree with you Skip, IMHO, his price point may be a bit high. Papas-Toybox Posted August 2, 2018 Share #5 Posted August 2, 2018 Way overboard. I sell WW2 Kingston ones that are much better made than the Camillus for $75 when I have em.
Bob Hudson Posted August 2, 2018 Share #6 Posted August 2, 2018 Since this is an unsold BUY IT NOW listing he may wonder why the phone doesn't ring He recently listed a sword for $325 and took an offer for $250, so ke apprently likes to start high. thorin6 Posted August 2, 2018 Share #7 Posted August 2, 2018 Besides being heavily sharpened and one of the scales being modified, it appears that the bail is not original. The last one on ebay sold for $1350 plus, but was in much better shape. He also states it was the first production, but as I understand it was an "educational" production, made to show the military that Camillus could make the knife in the hopes that they could get a contract. Of course, they didn't get the contract until 1957.
