Recently picked this up as it reminded me of the older Auroa model planes my dad had built and I recall seeing some of the factory made display kits at a local hobby shop when I was a kid.

THis is the USS Enterprise store model/display.Has the original enclosed stand with Auroa factory tag.

Thanks for looking.

Glad you liked it.Thanks for the comment

Seeing the kit reminded me of my dad and when he took me to the hobby shop.It was one of the only places that offered the old Ballentine War series books back in the 70s.I could spend hours there looking at the kits and art work on them.Plus the place was old school.Lot of vintage stuff hanging up and on shelves.

Nice, I haven't seen such a display before, thanks for sharing, Ron! Is that 1/1200 scale?

Thanks PK

Not sure the scale

I have a couple other none military ones my dad had.May have come out of the old hobby shop.Gave one to a friend as his daughter like old carriages and horses.

Hey Doyle,

That is a very nice display of the Big "E". Definitely something I'd keep in my display case (if I had one).

Semper Fi.

Thanks Manny

Its a nice flash back to the old kits that were avaliable.Have a couple planes I built and a couple left my dad built but most were all sold on an auction 15 years ago.

May have the M48 Patton around I built in the 70s as a kid.I know I have the Sherman my dad built in the early 60s or late 50s.Not high end like todays kits or skill levels.
