prestoncohunter Posted July 23, 2018 Share #1 Posted July 23, 2018 I stumbled across these at my FILs the other day. They appear to be of an age to possibly be WW2 but is there a way to know for sure. No markings on the glasses or the case that I can find. Case is in really rough shape. Thanks for any info. Bodes Posted July 23, 2018 Share #2 Posted July 23, 2018 They appear to be an "aviator style" sunglasses which became popular during WW2...Ray bans are the desirable brand, and would be marked accordingly....Unfortunately, this style has been reproduced in great numbers right up until the present....Put them on a head form with a cap and enjoy....Bodes
prestoncohunter Posted July 23, 2018 Author Share #3 Posted July 23, 2018 Thanks Bodes, that's sort of what I thought and expected the answer to be but wanted the input of experts.
