These just came across the desk today. The brand new, USMC-model UAV wings. Officer on the left, enlisted on the right.

Interesting. First look. But I would think these are Naval aviation badges not just USMC. S/F.......Bobgee

When it comes to flight Insignia, USN/USMC tend to wear the same as USMC part of Dept of Navy

These are the "standard samples" that the Marine Corps maintains in its collection as a record of what the design is supposed to look like. I can't speak for the Navy on this. All I know is that this is what the Marine Corps issues.

Anyone with knowledge of the design elements... the three dimensional V. And the circle with V on the enlisted wings are grossly oversized. Why?

Interesting. Officers are usually gold and enlisted silver, but that might just be surface type insignia.I am surprised they didnt incorporate an anchor on the ‘enlisted’ design. The officers looks like the flight officer with the ‘V’ design added.

Dumb...

I'm sorry, UAVs are the stuff of RC modelers and video games...they're not SF...this badge is unnecessary.

How do real pilots feel about these Tchotchkes?
