7thEvac Posted July 17, 2018 Share #1 Posted July 17, 2018 My dad, Donald J. Buckmaster, passes-away 20 years ago from cancer. He enlisted in the Marines right after Pearl Harbor and discharged as a Staff Sargeant. He didn't talk about the war very much, just saying he was stationed in Hawaii and later the Phillipines. I still miss him. The b&w photo is him the day he got back home.
