camonick Posted November 29, 2008 Share #1 Posted November 29, 2008 Along with some officer insignia, medals, burial flag, and dog tags I received of my wife's grandfather, I also received a sterling silver ID bracelet. It has his name, USNR and a small shoulder board on the front. His serial # and I assume his blood type on the back. Were these "issue" or were they "personal jewelry"? and how common were they? Everybody else share pics of yours! Enjoy Nick FRONT

Fred Borgmann Posted December 6, 2008 Share #3 Posted December 6, 2008 BACK These would have to be private purchase items. Not rare and not common. Value I guess would depend on the name and unit.
