ocsfollowme Posted July 12, 2018 Share #1 Posted July 12, 2018 Hi, Does anyone know what the playing card insignia represents? Thanks in advance, Steve
Teamski Posted July 12, 2018 Share #2 Posted July 12, 2018 Could it be for the 54th Troop Carrier Squadron??? They flew C-124's back in the day. I know they usually have the running beaver patch. -Ski
Randy Posted July 13, 2018 Share #3 Posted July 13, 2018 I asked a guy that is an expert on airlift items, he's never seen one. But in the patch world that means nothing, there are just too many out there. Ski has the best explanation so far. The cards look Japan made, so maybe only a few were done for one crew. That occurred a lot. Randy
ocsfollowme Posted July 14, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted July 14, 2018 Thanks gents! I am going to remove the patch (glued to photo) and see if I can do a google image scan. I agree that it is Japanese made. Ski has to be right on about being for the 54th something.
