Was the Willys Jeep used by the Navy in WWII?

Just curious if the Navy also used the Willys in WWII, if not, what vehicles were they using for general transport around bases, etc.? Thanks!

 

PS. I can't change the title, but also curious what vehicles were used by the US Navy in WWI

Yes, both in standard version made by Willys and Ford n,d in special series for the USN..'

Also to my understanding they were not painted gray until 1945.

They were also used aboard carriers as the first plane tugs.
