INIMICUS Posted June 17, 2018 Share #1 Posted June 17, 2018 hi folks - comments please about this kahn-tailored sz. 41 XL tunic please. I've not seen one so large. I'm 6'3" 200 lbs,. take a 42-44L suit coat and, but for the smaller chest, it about fits. also the unit collar brass seems pretty big - maybe a cap badge? (interesting the pin-back brass went on before the coat was finished. is that normal for officers?) finally, can anyone ID the officer? I can't find him but my WWI resources are scant vs. yours. many thanks, all insights welcome! more pix to come; stand by...

Allan H. Posted June 18, 2018 Share #4 Posted June 18, 2018 THe insignia is for the 60th Pioneer Infantry which was raised at Camp Wadsworth, SC in July 1918 and was scheduled to be converted to the 402nd Infantry Regiment, but the war ended before the change. The unit demobilized in July 1919. Allan
