QED4 Posted June 17, 2018 Share #2 Posted June 17, 2018 The button is correct, since the uniform was made on a Nov 1910 contract. The rimmed eagle buttons were not introduced until 1912. This style of uniform was made for many years and ones made after 1912 would have the more common rimmed buttons but you have an early one. Most of the time they were discarded, so that was nice it was in the pocket. I will combine the posts into one thread for ease of reading. Thanks for sharing it.
