P-59A Posted June 7, 2018 Share #1 Posted June 7, 2018 The first photo is how I display my helmet. The liner came with the pot, but the pot was missing the chin straps. I added a pair of chin straps from Top Pots. Everything else is period correct for Market Garden. I had bought four of these liners with pots and still have two. I will post the other one later. The liners and pots came out of surplus from Holland and were in a crate of other WW2 liners and pots. I cherry picked the crate. Worth mention is all of the M-1C liners had the same maker sweat band, nape strap and all of the liners were marked W D-12. They all had green buckle liner chin straps and they all had the four hole canvas chin strap. They all had stamps on the liner webbing. The netting and burlap came from a WW2 foot locker at the swap meet. It has weathering and age, but I can't say for sure what it's history is. It looks correct to me so I added it.
