Looking for any information on a 1st Infantry Company K insignia. If its real or fake.

Original.  This large size collar insignia was worn 1902/03 by enlisted men.  In 1903 or so, the large size was reduced.

What you want to look for is one just like yours but gilt and screwback.  That would have been the hat badge that came out in 1895.
