MWalsh Posted June 4, 2018 Share #1 Posted June 4, 2018 Can anyone tell me for certain if the grips on US military issued and used Beretta M9 9mm pistols, have on them grips which have the round Beretta logo emblem in the center, or plain with no logo at all? The commercially sold M9 pistols appear to have the logo on the grips. But then I also saw for sale on Gunbroker grips that are supposed to be official issue replacement grips, but which have NO logo on them. Just plain. When I Google search and look for images, I have not been able to find a for-sure military example that is visible enough to allow me to know for sure. Can anyone tell me with certainty? Thanks! kwill Posted June 4, 2018 Share #2 Posted June 4, 2018 Yes, the original grips have the Beretta logo. They will also have slotted grip screws, not the Allen head screws in commercial pistols.
MWalsh Posted June 4, 2018 Author Share #3 Posted June 4, 2018 Great! Thanks for the info! So with that established... are US issue replacement grips unmarked, or at the Gunbroker ones from some other government or foreign contract?
kwill Posted June 5, 2018 Share #4 Posted June 5, 2018 Do you have a link to the Gunbroker auction? I think the replacement grips also have the logo and probably have a cage code molded on the inside and/or come in military packaging with a cage code and drawing number. Brian Keith Posted June 6, 2018 Share #7 Posted June 6, 2018 Here are photos of the one I was issued and carried in Afghanistan. We buddy team carried our weapons and other sensitive items in Pelican cases. So you can see two M-4s with ACOGs, two M-9s and our NBC auto injectors and drugs. The close up shows my M-9, you can see the grips. BKW
