338thRCT Posted June 1, 2018 Share #1 Posted June 1, 2018 I always liked the wool baseball caps that the Air Force guys wore. Found this today at a thrift shop. Could sort of make out a KW service ribbon on the NCO's jacket. No ID as to unit or locale.
phantomfixer Posted June 1, 2018 Share #2 Posted June 1, 2018 Nice pic...the 22 on the ball cap is the Squadron/unit ...so maybe 22nd AMU, assigned to the 22nd Bomb Sq ......or 22nd TFS?FS/FIS? maybe one of the patch guys can ID the patch ...early to mid 60s..two guys are wearing the later style MA-1, no O2 mask strap or mic snaps...I can not make out what is in the back ground, in the hanger...
