Costa Posted May 20, 2018 Share #1 Posted May 20, 2018 thinking these are LGB or AMICO??? however, the roller lock appears to be early? a drop in. but, these were also used later in ww2 also. only hallmarked sterling which leads me to think of these as later war. early style roller with no maker. now that I'm looking at the 2 items I wonder if this vet was a gunnery instructor. Tesla Posted May 20, 2018 Share #3 Posted May 20, 2018 Hi Costa, I have an identical wing. I think its a Moody Brothers. I have both the one with the maker mark and with sterling only and they both have the same catch.
Kropotkin Posted May 20, 2018 Share #4 Posted May 20, 2018 Yes, I’d say Moody Bros too.
Costa Posted May 20, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted May 20, 2018 I HAVE TO ADMIT, I HAVE NEVER SEEN A MOODY WITHOUT THEIR HALLMARK. THIS IS A FIRST.

pfrost Posted May 20, 2018 Share #7 Posted May 20, 2018 IIRC I don't think Moody Brother's were actual manufacturers, but rather retail sellers of wings.
