usmce4 Posted May 18, 2018 Share #1 Posted May 18, 2018 I'm really on a roll. This is the 5th month of the year and this is my 5th KA-BAR of the year. And this month is also my first anniversary as a MK2 collector Art

usmce4 Posted May 18, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted May 18, 2018 Just as aside, when I got it, it took me a while to get the keeper unsnapped and this is what it looked like when I finally did. I'd say this one's been laying in a drawer or trunk for quite awhile Art

KRIS FORD Posted May 18, 2018 Share #12 Posted May 18, 2018 Good one! I have it's USN counterpart, does it have the flat wide handle shape? This one feels like it has the most heft..even more so than my other heavy pommeled ones..

usmce4 Posted May 19, 2018 Author Share #14 Posted May 19, 2018 First off - thanks for all the kind words above. One of my many old hobbies was photography. Old hobbies, like habits, die hard - I couldn't resist taking this. The guidebook is a fairly recent one, picked up at a flea market. The Expert Rifleman and Pistol Sharpshooter Sterling Silver badges are actually mine - two of the very few surviving souvenirs of my days in the service. The knife is the same one as above.
