I was very surprised to find this floating on the loose. There can't be too many of these around. I hope you appreciate this as much as I do as General Arnold was a real legend and helped build our Air Force into what it is today.

Never seen one of these before...especially to serve as an invitation! Any idea who the recipient was and their connection to the general?

Unfortunately, I do not have any information on the recipient or how they were connected to the general.

The recipient's full name is Millie M. Sibert. Her husband was James R. Sibert.

 

Gen Arnold and tbe recipient both lived in Sonoma County when he died. Perhaps they were social friends.
