usmce4 Posted April 24, 2018 Share #1 Posted April 24, 2018 Ebay item 263630656887 is a Commemorative issue Marine Raider Stiletto made BY H.G. Long & Co For the "American Historical Foundation". I don't care for repros, but as I know I'll never have a real one, I was wondering if this was any type of thing worth having just as a representative piece. Anybody on where familiar with this item or the company who can offer me advice? Thanks, Art
byf41 Posted April 24, 2018 Share #2 Posted April 24, 2018 Personally these "commerative" knives don't do a thing for me , no historical value Art . Save youre bucks and try to find an original In the best condition you can afford . JMO
TheMariner Posted April 24, 2018 Share #3 Posted April 24, 2018 I will respectfully disagree with the above I have personally bought 10+ knives produced by the American historical foundation, they are well made and there is a large market for them. I have sold every single one I bought for a large profit or at the least decent profit for what I paid , maybe I just got lucky but I think they are a decent investment and if the price is right I would not hesitate in the least to pick something like this up!
