manayunkman Posted April 20, 2018 Share #1 Posted April 20, 2018 These are supposed to be Army issue with the behind the ear grips. And the issue prescription is with them. I really don't know much about these so any comments are appreciated.
72psb Posted April 20, 2018 Share #2 Posted April 20, 2018 Look like Radar O'Rielly's glasses from MASH.
rmoore456 Posted April 20, 2018 Share #3 Posted April 20, 2018 Other than my cases being olive green they look the same as my pairs. Does the perscription have anything on indicating they are issue. Mine has the optometrists rank with his signature. Ray
Dogsbody Posted April 20, 2018 Share #4 Posted April 20, 2018 Nice specs! Can you see markings on the bridge? For instance can you see AO ful-vue stamped on there? AO stands for American Optical and ful-vue is a trademark. If so your specs are probably army issue. Rene

Ray175INF Posted April 20, 2018 Share #7 Posted April 20, 2018 Nice! I like how the temple tips wrap around under the ears like aviators Ray
Old Marine Posted April 20, 2018 Share #8 Posted April 20, 2018 They look like normal WWII GI glasses to me. Nice glasses. With the notation ETOUSAMD (European Theater of Operations US Army Medical Department) Form No.- 315 on the prescription card they were issued overseas. It's nice to find them with the prescription card.
manayunkman Posted April 20, 2018 Author Share #9 Posted April 20, 2018 Thanks for the information and comments. This was part of a grouping of an ETO soldier.
