craig_pickrall Posted February 21, 2007 Share #1 Posted February 21, 2007 A couple of years ago, at an estate sale, I bought two scrapbooks loaded with pics plus a nice assortment of other items. All of these items belonged to James W Treece, a member of Co D, 757 MP Battalion. Included was a good grouping of dog tags. He was the company clerk and must have made the dog tags for the unit as he had just about every version used in WW2. I have previously posted these here: http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/ind...?showtopic=1378 So far I have edited the pics of insignia, ID cards and stateside posts and training. I still need to edit and post the pics of his unit history and then I can start taking pics and editing his overseas items.

craig_pickrall Posted February 21, 2007 Author Share #7 Posted February 21, 2007 This section covers his personal pics taken in the US during training. There are records to indicate he was at three locations and I am not sure which pics are from which location. The three locations are: Camp George West, CO Jefferson Barracks, MO (St Louis) Ft Leonard Wood, MO

Charlie Flick Posted February 21, 2007 Share #25 Posted February 21, 2007 Very cool group and shots, Craig. Thanks for posting them. I especially liked the two shots of the 1/2 ton and 3/4 Dodge Carryalls. (My favorite ride.) Those guys gambling in the latrine better watch out or the MPs will be all over them for violation of Army Regs. Wait a minute, those guys ARE the MPs!!!!
