He was from Moweaqua, IL. He trained as a draftee at Camp Taylor in Louisville, so that would be part of the 84th Div. He seems to be involved in medical service; but I can't tell if as a patient or worker. His last WW1 address was US General Hospital No. 2, Fox Hills, Staten Island, NY. Thanks. Was there a lot of harness repair for escort wagons, I assumed most US hospital transport was made with Ford and GMC ambulances? But then I read an article today about a special group of Italian tailors, assigned to the USAS as the "sailmakers detachment" and repaired the fabric coverings, etc. on US warplanes.
