I recently picked up this WW2 Navy Seabee Named Wooden Box for a T. Sampson of the 41st CB (Construction Battalion) and so far it has eluded all attempts of identification as to who he was.  If anyone has a roster or unit history for the 41st CB that they could check to see if we can put a ful first name and hopefully middle initial to this box I would be most appreciative.

And I meant to note that it's in fact the 41st NCB Naval Construction Battalion and I did find their unit history on line but it doesn't have a roster.
