Hello, just acquired this Kabar, it appears to be mint with a factory finish.

Can someone tell me more about it?

And maybe an idea of value?

Thanks!

Camillus made between 1962 to early 1974. These are originally military contract knifes, but at least by the early 70's they were also made available to the consumer market. Good Vietnam era knife in great condition.

What are your thoughts on value?

My thoughts are that the market for military knives is still a bit on the soft side compared to a few years ago, with signs of at least somethings going back up. Definitely see more separation in prices with regards to condition of the item, which speaks well for your example. I think I'll defer to others here who are likely more current on whats trending with these knives particularly.

I have been buying and selling them anywhere from $40-$80 depending on the day and shape! This one is decent I would put it around $60 give or take as a fair price!
