Screamingeagles101 Posted April 14, 2018 Share #1 Posted April 14, 2018 Hello, just acquired this Kabar, it appears to be mint with a factory finish. Can someone tell me more about it? And maybe an idea of value? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
sactroop Posted April 14, 2018 Share #2 Posted April 14, 2018 Camillus made between 1962 to early 1974. These are originally military contract knifes, but at least by the early 70's they were also made available to the consumer market. Good Vietnam era knife in great condition. sactroop Posted April 14, 2018 Share #4 Posted April 14, 2018 My thoughts are that the market for military knives is still a bit on the soft side compared to a few years ago, with signs of at least somethings going back up. Definitely see more separation in prices with regards to condition of the item, which speaks well for your example. I think I'll defer to others here who are likely more current on whats trending with these knives particularly.

TheMariner Posted April 14, 2018 Share #6 Posted April 14, 2018 I have been buying and selling them anywhere from $40-$80 depending on the day and shape! This one is decent I would put it around $60 give or take as a fair price!
thorin6 Posted April 14, 2018 Share #7 Posted April 14, 2018 I would agree with TheMariner, $60 plus or minus $5.
DRE66 Posted April 15, 2018 Share #8 Posted April 15, 2018 Or just add $100.00 or so on to the suggested value and throw it in the bay. ?
