WWII Named MTO Helmet

Hello Everyone!

Recently I was able to pick this beautiful named MTO lid to a USAAF veteran. The helmet is marked With the name Ray Raoul Barrie, along the rayon webbing. The liner is an early St. Clair, First pattern Rayon liner, with painted green interior. Probably one of the hardest sets to find unmolested. I have photos of his obituary but they wouldn't fit. Notice the burn marks on the top front of the shell from probably field cooking.

Food always taste better when its cooked in a steel pot! :lol:

Hahaha, I'm sure in North Africa or Italy it got so hot, anything tasted good!

Just beautiful. The liner has great wear to it.

Thank you! Love the wear to this lid. Has just enough to look vintage but is still complete.
