SEABEE SON Posted April 7, 2018 Share #1 Posted April 7, 2018 This is a picture of my father, a Seabee, on weekend training in the early 1960’s. The cover is either faded or has no discernible pattern. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Moonlight Gecko Posted April 7, 2018 Share #4 Posted April 7, 2018 I'm thinking it's a faded khaki side of a Mitchell pattern camo cover?

36thIDAlex Posted April 7, 2018 Share #6 Posted April 7, 2018 Yeah my best bet would be a worn khaki Mitchell cover Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

SEABEE SON Posted April 9, 2018 Author Share #15 Posted April 9, 2018 I don't recall him ever wearing camo fatigues when on training duty. They did regularly engage the Marines in war games, as I recall. He thought that was quite fun. Here he is showing me a 30 cal. MG while a Marine looks on. August 1961.
