We forgot the KA BAR's 75th birthday

Recently picked up a small knife that inspired me to make a short video about the WWII KA BAR fighting knife. As part of that I found an image posted on the forum about 5 years ago. The text - written by author MH Cole - says KA BAR maker Union Cutlery submitted spec drawings for the fighting knife to the Marine Corps on December 9, 1942:

What inspired my movie was a mini KA BAR clone produced recently. When something is being copied 75 years after its birth, it's iconic for sure.

Thanks for the informative video! It was fun to watch. I'm not a knife collector but I always like to learn somethimg new.
